The Affairs on Egdon Heath

Hello!

In my senior year of high school, I got to read Thomas Hardy's The Return of the Native for my AP Lit class (shoutout to Mr. Gaul!) and fell in love with Hardy's writing style. It cemented itself into my top 3 books. So, when the time came for my college capstone project, I returned to my roots (shoutout to my capstone advisors Zach & Dmitriy!).

This project was completed in 2 semesters: the first was spent writing the whole thing and mapping out dialogue routes, endings, etc., and the second was spent creating the art and programming it in RenPy.

It is an adaptation of The Return of the Native in visual novel format with 9 total endings: 2 are canonical (end of book the fifth vs end of book the sixth) and 7 invented. In it, you get to play as the reddleman, Diggory Venn, and influence the happenings of the story. Best of luck! I got to really love this book even more, so I hope it's worth a go.

Now, I am not an artist by any means, so it looks the best that I could manage. There are 6 total books with between 2-6 chapters each (the exact count goes 6, 4, 4, 4, 4, 2 if you must know).
